About the lure:
Atomic Real Baitz are a pre-rigged plastic construction with a soft life-like feel and appearance. They feature precise anatomical features of species down to colours and lure action. They are weighted just right to ensure the lure sinks horizontally with downward swimming angle on the drop. Real Baitz can be fished similar to soft plastics and will respond well to rod lifts or even a slow burn back to the anglers. Tested on inshore north coast reefs, in the estuaries and in northern QLD impoundments, the lures have proven themselves on mulloway, snapper, barramundi and reef species such as coral trout. Available in a range of species, sizes and colours.
How to Use:
- We recommend 10-20lb outfits up to 20-40lb depending on the terrain you are fishing. Braided lines with a flouro leader will be best.
- Use a loop knot for the best action. It allows the lure to swim freely.
- This lure in all weights casts well and will give you a long cast and cover lots of ground.
- Blue Pilchard or Red Bait – Use a fast wind retrieve or allow it to drop to the bottom and hop it back to the boat for amazing results.
- Australian Pilchard – Use a very slow wind retrieve or allow it to drop to the bottom and hop it back to the boat for amazing results.
