There are a variety of cuts to meet the specific requirements of different food processing professionals.

This Steel is fitted with a sterilisable, non-absorbent polypropylene handle with a 1.5″ square guard and stainless steel hanging ring.

Knurled Cuts:

  • Coarse Helical – This coarse spiral cut will quickly recreate the edge on the bluntest of knives.
  • Medium Straight Knurled – This will maintain a sharp edge on most domestic and commercial knives but will not be as fine as that produced by a finer Precision Cut.

 

Precision Cuts & Polished:

  • Fine – Best selling cut highly recommended for most professional knives that are well maintained and used by the keen domestic chef.
  • Super Fine – A finer cut recommended for knives that need to be constantly maintained at a high level of sharpness (slaughterhouses etc).
  • Polished – This blade will re-align and maintain a razor like edge on an already sharp knife.
