Feel the flex, harness the power! Flexi-TipZ rods combine the sensitivity and durability of integrated solid glass tips, with the reduced weight and stopping power of composite fibreglass and graphite main blanks.
Not just your ordinary solid glass tip rod though, Okuma take it to another level with a breakthrough design in rod strength, their patented UFR (Unidirectional Fibre Reinforcement) technology. This patented manufacturing process utilises an outer layer of longitudinal fibres around the blank to significantly increase the rods strength and power in the tip section. These fibres increase the sensitivity, lifting power and maximum strength of the rod by up to three times that of a standard blank. The result is a new wave of solid glass tip rods that are extremely powerful, durable and sensitive.
