The Bait Shop Gold Coast started as a small family run business including a young pup named Tye in Arundel in 2013, after the owner decided that there wasn’t a great variety of quality bait available on the Gold Coast. The family had worked in the commercial fishing industry for over 30 years and knew that it was time to make it happen. Sourcing bait from other local commercial fisherman and at the fish markets. The Bait Shop Gold Coast has developed into not only a bait shop but a one stop shop with a wide range of tackle, lures, rods + reels, cast nets, crab pots, gift cards and plenty more including a 24/7 bait vending machine. Providing everyone from offshore fishermen, fresh water fishing, or a family heading down for a day at the beach. We offer friendly advice and always happy to point you in the right direction.
