Pop Up (PUP) Pots:

Crafted with durability in mind, our Pop Up Pots feature a robust 30 Ply Black 55mm Mesh, ensuring the pots withstand the challenges of the marine environment. The use of high-quality materials extends to the 316 Stainless Hinges, providing strength and corrosion resistance. The 10mm Hot Dip Gal Top & Bottom Rings, along with the Chafe Rope Bottom Ring, enhances the pots’ structural reliability, making them dependable pots for your crabbing adventures.

Designed for ultimate convenience, our Pop Up Pots come equipped with 2 x Funnel entrances, allowing crabs to enter easily. Many crabbers prefer to place their 2 funnels in a ‘north south’ potion so the tide runs through the funnels making it easier for them to climb into the pote. The Top & Bottom Entry feature, coupled with 316 Stainless Door Hooks, ensures that your catch is secure inside the pot. To improve the success of your crabbing, we have included a sewn-in 30 Ply mesh Bait Bag in most models (except 600), enticing crabs to enter and stay.

Additionally, each Pop Up Pot comes with a Pot Tag, an essential accessory for marking and identifying your pots in the water.

900mm Top Lift Pot:

Crafted with durable materials, the 900mm Top Lift Pot is constructed with strong 30 Ply Black 55mm Mesh, ensuring its resilience in the challenging marine environment. Equipped with 4 deep and wide funnel entrances, this pot maximizes the chances of a successful catch. The four legs are made of 3.1 x 290mm aluminium flat bar with a ‘notch’ bent into the end that facilitates an effortless setup. With one hand you ‘lift the top’ ring and when it reaches the height of the notch, it can be effortlessly be pushed in using your thumb. Taking them down is just as easy, slipping the ring out of the notch using your thumb and the legs fold down easily. The pot rings are Hot Dip Galvanized 900mm x 12mm Bottom & 800mm x 10mm Top Rings, providing robust structural support. The 6mm Chafe Rope on the bottom ring and Top & Bottom Entry with 316 Stainless Door Hooks enhance the pot’s durability and ease of use. Incorporating a sewn-in Bait bag made of strong 30 Ply Black 55mm Mesh, this pot ensures effective baiting, increasing the likelihood of attracting crabs.

600mm	The 600mm Pro Pot is designed for versatility, equipped with strong 30 Ply Black 55mm Mesh and 2 Funnel entrances. Featuring 3 x 280 Poly Legs, 10mm Hot Dip Gal Top & Bottom Rings, and Top Entry with 316 Stainless Door Hooks, this pot is ideal for kayaks, gutters, and walking pots into your favourite location. It’s compact size makes it easy to store and ideal for young crab enthusiasts as well. While it catches well, its limited crab per pot ratio ensures a manageable catch for every adventure.
800mm	Moving up in size, the 800mm Pro Pot offers greater capabilities. Featuring the robust 30 Ply Black 55mm Mesh and 3 x Funnel design, this pot is strengthened with 3 x 320 Poly Legs and 6mm Chafe Rope Top & Bottom Rings. What sets it apart is the sewn-in Bait bag with 30 Ply Black 55mm Mesh, ensuring effective baiting for a successful catch. Ideal for smaller boats and walking pots into your location, this pot boasts deep funnels and sturdy construction, allowing it to hold a substantial number of crabs for it’s size.
900mm	For the most dedicated crabbers, the 900mm Pro Pot is the ultimate choice. With multiple mesh options listed below this pot provides flexibility and strength. Featuring 3 or 4 Funnel entrances and 4 x 320 Poly Legs, it is reinforced with Hot Dip Gal 12mm Bottom & 10mm Top Rings and 6mm Chafe Rope Top & Bottom Ring. The sewn-in Bait bag, utilising mesh applicable to Pot Mesh, ensures optimal baiting. 1000m	If you want to take your crabbing to the next level then the 1000mm Pro Pot will take you there. Choose from a wide variety of mesh options to get the most out of your fishery crabbing. The extra diameter allows us to increase the height of the 1000mm pots to 350mm allowing for the 3 or 4 funnel options to be both deeper and wider. Both top and bottom rings are both 12mm hot dip galvanised with 6mm chafe rope on both with the extra weight of the heavier rings reducing the chance of it rolling in strong currents. Extra heavy duty bait bags feature in the 1000mm pots to match the seriousness of the crabber that chooses these pots. The space inside the pots allows it to hold a substantial amount of crab while reducing the possibility of damage being inflicted on crabs while they’re securely held in the pot.
