Yamashita Egi Sutte-R Squid Jig

The Yamashita Egi Sutte-R features skeleton glow bodies which are suitable for both night and day fishing. The slim head design and knife edge sinker give these jigs an easy darting action and the super fine stainless steel hooks enable excellent hookups without rusting issues. Five types of cloth are available as indicated by the first letter of each colour:

• R = la-me cloth
• B = classic cloth
• X = classic cloth with rainbow undertape
• N = natural baitfish coloured cloth
• P = no cloth painted body

Best colours for clear water and when the squid aren’t as active: 

• Browns: NAJ, NIB, BWBK
• Dark Greens: NQS, ROL
• Pink: BWP, RP, BP (Can also be used when the squid are active)
• Blue and Natural: NEB, NKN, NMI (Can also be used when the squid are active)

Best in clear water and when the squid highly active:

• Oranges: RO, BWO, BO
• Blue and Natural: NEB, NKN, NMI

Best when muddy and squid aren’t active:

• Reds, Violets and Rainbow: BO, BP, BOL

Best when muddy and squid are highly active:

• Rainbows: BO, BP, BOL
• Highlight Greens: BHT NQS

Best around weed beds and kelp:

• Natural colours like NQS, ROL, NEB, NAJ, NKN, NMI

Best in deeper water:

• Brighter colours like BWP and BWO
