Vexed Bottom Meat Wire Assist
The Vexed Bottom Meat Wire assists have been designed to handle the toothy and strong mouthed species that patrol the reefs and ledges of Northern Australia. Simply replace your standard Bottom Meat assist with this wire option when the mackerel turn up and you will not only start landing mackerel, but you wont have your assist bitten off time after time on the drop to the bottom. These triple wire assists also make great mackerel trolling/drift bait rigs. Simply apply a garfish, mullet or pilchard and troll or drift then hang on! Available in 2/0 through to 9/0.

Vexed Flashy Occy Head Assists (Qty 2)
The Vexed Twin Flashy Octopus Assists consist of red kevlar assist cord, Harbor super strong/sharp slow pike hooks and a Harbor octopus skirt with plenty of flash tied in under the octopus skirt. You can add these to Vexed Dhu Bomb Heads, Bottom Meat or Bottom Sack's for even more fish catching ability as well as other Inchiku or Slow Pitch jigs.
Testing has proven that this combination of flash, glow, UV and octopus skirt not only gets more attention than old school bare assists, but also gives the fish a target to bite resulting in more solid "inside the mouth" hook ups. Ideal for targeting: Snapper, Dhufish, Coral Trout, Red Emperor, Groper, Cod, Trevally, Cobia, Kingfish and Amberjack.

The Vexed Flashy Triple Bait Assist can be used as a jig assist, on a bait paternoster rig or as a Bottom Meat replacement part. During testing Vexed found the intense flash, glow and UV made all of the difference to entice a bite on those tough shut down days. Three hooks will simply hook more fish than a single or double assist. Not to mention the premium bait presentation that three hooks offer.
For maximum effectiveness slap on a strip of fresh fish, a whole squid, fresh octopus leg, or a fresh pilchard and fish it deep and slow. Rigged with super sharp Harbor hooks and fluorocarbon Core PE Assist cord will ensure fish are hooked and stay attached.
